[Latecomer KAWASAKI Wins on the Western Front]
KAWASAKI America, the last of the Japanese manufacturers to enter the massive American market, opened the battle from Western California. KAWASAKI's situation in the U.S. at the time was beyond description... (For more details, see Motorcycle Sam Goes to America news.webike.net/bikenews/470754/) The thorough management strategy of the passionate Chairman Tsune Tanegashima, sometimes daring power business, cold calculations moving realistically beneath the surface, the overwhelming performance of the new models precisely because they were the last to launch, and the quirky but deeply human people from a foreign land...
These brake shoes can be installed on KAWASAKI's masterpiece motorcycles that emerged during those days of adventure and glory.

Hayden Gillim wins 101st Loudon Classic on Vesrah GSX-R750!
Hayden Gillim won the NEMRR's 101st Loudon Classic at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire, on Saturday, June 8, taking home $55, 000 in prize money for his victory.
Gillim, riding the same Vesrah Suzuki GSX-R750 that took him to a podium finish at the Daytona 200 earlier this year, qualified third on the front row with a lap time of 1:10.899.
The start of the race was delayed due to the rain, and Hayden initially dropped back to 4th but quickly moved up to 3rd. As the race progressed, Gillim moved up to 2nd on lap 15 and began chasing the leader.
Hayden took the lead on lap 21, 1.513 seconds ahead of second place, and never relinquished it.
Gillim also set the fastest lap of the race with a 1:10.711, quicker than his qualifying time.
Hayden Gillim, Rider #95: A last-minute decision to attend the 101st Loudon Classic turned out to be a great weekend.
I convinced Mark to load up the Vesrah race bike from the Daytona 200 and have it moved to New Hampshire.
Having never been to this racetrack before, I did not have high expectations.
I thought it would be great if I could make it into the top 5.
After qualifying, I felt that I could be on the podium.
With the help of a lapped bike, I was able to fend off faster competitors and take the lead.
Thanks to Mark, Vesrah, Steel Commander, Comstock Energy, DUNLOP, and everyone else who made this weekend a huge success!
Mark Young, Team Director: I had mixed feelings about returning to Loudon.
Because when I came here as a rider in 1998, I had a big crash and broke my leg.
It was a great result for Hayden to win.
This race was a team effort between Hayden, me, and our regular crew.
I must thank a few friends for their support.
