Compound
Silica compound front and rear, for excellent performance in both dry and wet conditions.
The rear radial size is bi-compound with soft shoulder stripes made of different plastic resins for better grip when cornering.

Tread pattern design
DIABLO™ POWERCRUISER™ is designed based on the iconic flash tread pattern of PIRELLI's sport tires.
The two center grooves improve straight-line stability and provide uniform wear.
The flush shape also serves as effective drainage from the center of the ground surface to the outside.
The flush tail sections are of different lengths and distributed on both sides of the center design to support grip at intermediate bank angles.
These tails are an important element in the behavior of the tire, ensuring proper flexibility, efficient drainage and uniform wear.
The tread design of the DIABLO™ POWERCRUISER™ is also inspired by the DIABLO ROSSO™ IV and provides support at higher bank angles.
Wide slick zones in the shoulder and mid-bank angle areas provide excellent grip and stable line holding performance when cornering.
