[Reproduction of discontinued oil tank hose]
Hose connecting Oil Tank A (lower) and Oil Tank B (upper).
Two-layer construction: outer layer made of special silicone rubber used for radiator hoses, inner layer made of oil-resistant fluorosilicone rubber.
[DMR design prevents kinking]
While the OEM part is L-shaped, it kinks into a V-shape when installed. The DMR version is pre-molded to the correct angle, allowing installation without hose collapse or material fatigue.
[Fluorosilicone rubber properties]
In addition to the heat and cold resistance of standard silicone rubber, fluorosilicone rubber offers superior oil and fuel resistance comparable to fluoroelastomers. It is used in demanding automotive and aerospace environments requiring fuel, oil, heat, and cold resistance.
Highly resistant to engine oil and fuels (gasoline, diesel, biodiesel). Expansion rate due to oil or fuel is approximately 1/10th that of standard silicone rubber.
