Reinforced but thinner and lighter design
Just out of curiosity I bought these CB FORCE reinforced cam chains A and B.Compared to OEM 5-4-5 links per pitch this new design is thinner 4-3-4 per pitch. Also visible in the comparison pictures, the new side plate design is somewhat different.This new reinforced cam chain B is also lighter(254 grams) compared to OEM(274 grams) chain.PICTURES: New reinforced cam chain(above) and OEM can chain(below) in side-by-side comparison.
