About Sportec M7 RR
Sportec is the name for Metzeler's supersport tire range. The M7 is the latest evolution of the Sportec series, following the M1, M3, and M5. The RR stands for Road Racing, indicating this tire was developed through road racing.

Metzeler Development Philosophy
Public roads are not as smooth as circuits. They may be rougher than expected, with bumps, repairs, dust, leaves, puddles, or road markings. Tires must perform reliably under these unpredictable conditions. Metzeler believes that a tire capable of handling these sudden, unexpected situations is essential for riders to ride safely with full confidence. Metzeler has long conducted real-world testing on public roads with varying surface conditions, not just on closed test tracks.

Designed for riders who enjoy active riding, from daily commuting to weekend winding roads and long-distance touring. It combines agile handling and high dry grip with exceptional wet performance and road feedback for a supersport tire.

Technical Features
1. New profile with larger outer diameter: Excellent handling and road tracking.
2. Optimized internal structure: Superior stability during deceleration and cornering, and safety through road feedback.
3. Metzeler's unique groove design: Excellent wet performance for confident banking in rain.
4. Latest compound: High dry grip and wet performance balance.

1. New Profile: Provides quick banking from upright and high freedom in handling. The shoulder area has a 5% larger contact patch than the M5. Sidewall height is 3mm higher (vs M5) for better road tracking and traction.
2. Internal Structure: Uses high-tensile rayon to suppress deformation from centrifugal force. Features 0-degree steel belt radial structure with Interact technology to control pressure on the road surface.
3. Groove Design: Longitudinal grooves feature compound bridges to suppress tread deformation and maintain drainage. Lateral grooves become shallower toward the shoulder for stability and wider for improved drainage at deep lean angles.
4. Compound: Uses 100% silica compound. The front tire uses the latest 100% silica compound. The rear tire uses different silica content between the center and shoulder for a balance of mileage and grip.

Tire is unique and fun

[How is it used?
TZr250R (3XV) I bought it for.
I chose this product because it is an OEMSize 150/60-17 Radial and I have used different sizes on other motorcycles.

How was your experience with it?
Tire replacement was requested by a nearby Motorcycle shop that allowed us to bring our own tires.
Although it is not listed in the compatible car models, it is of course possible to use it since the Size fits.
The grip and handling were just as in the Image, which is necessary and sufficient for me, since I have used this tire on other motorcycles.
The Pattern of the grooves may vary from person to person, but I personally like it. Drainage is also no problem.
It hasn't been too long since the replacement so I don't know how Life is doing, but I have high hopes.

Personally, I think it is a more enjoyable Tire than the less distinctive domestic Tires I have used.

Overall, I feel safe.

It's not a melting reduction, but rather a smooth feeling.
If it's not a mossy road, it's probably not slippery. The rolling resistance is low and the power is not eaten! I think the medium-sized class is right for you.
The Metzler is a Tire that can be easily turned around, has excellent stability, and can be used for recommendation. You may think "Is it really Grip? However, it is the Tire that can be made well on the public road without any problem.
