Repeat. Air Pressure Maintenance is a Large Thing!
I repaired to THRUXTONR for Rear. I expected it to last about 7000km just after I installed it last time, but it was almost the same as Pirelli's Roccol II and the second BS's S22 which were OEM installed, and SlipSign was exposed at 5500km. The front wheel still seems to last for another 2000km, though.
I have some idea why Rear is depleting so quickly.
One of the reasons is that I had neglected to maintain the air pressure. Since we live in a snowy area, I checked the air pressure before my first ride this spring and it was quite low, so I was a bit sorry. The other reason is that I've learned how to ride the THRUXTON, and it feels great to ride with a solid load on the rear and open up with a high GEAR.
So, if I can bring out the true potential of the car by performing proper air pressure maintenance frequently, it may be able to keep a little longer.
In any case, it's more Almighty than a Circuit Tire and perfect for sports riding and touring other than SS.
I wish it was a little cheaper, though.
