Puig Short Brake Lever for Yamaha MT09 Tracer
This is a replacement for the OEM brake lever that came on the Yamaha MT09 Tracer 2017 model. Nothing really wrong with the OEM but fancied a change of brake lever.As I have customized a lot on this bike already, this was something I had been meaning to do but could not decide which brand, finally went with Puig as I have never used them before.This lever allows a lot of customization in the way of colouring. I did not go for anything really out there but the good old standard black colour lever and also the black adjuster. Stealthy.I had a few other parts to order so this worked out good for shipping too.The price for this brake lever was really good but you also have to factor in the adapter you need for it to fit your model of bike. Not particularly expensive even for the 2 parts needed to complete. Webike price was a big plus for me as they always seem to beat other suppliers. Even if you add the cost of the brake lever and the adapter, the price is still better than a lot of the other brands.The package arrived in 5 days as always and everything was very well packed. Although this brake lever came in it's own box anyway. Nothing was damaged in transit mainly due to Webike packing the spaces with extra bubble wrapUpon opening the box for the brake lever, I was really impressed with just how good it looked. The finish is a nice smooth glossy black and the adjuster is also the same glossy black. All the anodising was even and no patchy parts at all.Fitted really easily within 30 minutes. I have to say, even though this was a bit of a punt, Puig have knocked this out of the park. The lever is stunning. The feel when fitted is great, not notchy in any position. The adjustment now with this clutch lever is super cool and there is a lot of reach now. Good for small hands and larger hands too.A really nice addition to my bike.Very very pleased, the pictures you see online do not do this lever justice. I think this brand may now become one I use a lot.Thanks Webike.
